SEATTLE - A 42-year-old Goldendale, Wash., man with a prior child sex abuse conviction was sentenced to 27 years in federal prison and lifetime supervised release after pleading guilty to enticing two girls online and possessing child sexual abuse images, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement announced.
District Court Judge Mary Katherine Dimke handed down the sentence to Corbett Lloyd Craig on June 26. Craig used social media from early 2022 until his arrest in June 2025 to coerce two girls into providing him with sexually explicit videos and images, according to ICE Homeland Security Investigations.
“He enticed one of the children by offering her money via gift cards and online payments,” said acting ICE Director David J. Venturella. “This is an adult who knew the girls were just kids - but he still intended to elicit sexual material from them. I’m incredibly proud of the Homeland Security Investigations special agents who invested their time and effort into this case to bring some measure of justice to these young girls and their families.”
Law enforcement officers who executed a search warrant at Craig’s home discovered thousands of additional files of child sex abuse material. Investigators also found child abuse images from a previous case and material depicting a child Craig had personally victimized on his computer.
Judge Dimke cited Craig’s criminal history as an aggravating factor. In 2017, Craig was convicted in Clackamas County Superior Court in Oregon of encouraging child abuse in the second degree, sexual abuse in the third degree, and contributing to the sexual delinquency of a child. As the judge noted, “Craig’s history of engaging in the same and similar conduct is what makes this case even more aggravated and supports his substantial sentence.”
“Mr. Craig was fully aware that his actions were not just extremely immoral, but illegal as well,” said acting HSI Seattle Special Agent in Charge April Miller. “This sentence will keep this predator off the streets and keep our children safer. HSI will continue to investigate these crimes against children. We owe our communities nothing less.”
HSI Seattle investigated the case with assistance from the Klickitat County Sheriff’s Department. Assistant U.S. Attorney Michael Murphy prosecuted the case. Craig will remain under lifetime supervised release following his 27-year prison term.
